Module: Season 1 Finale (5/3/16)
This is the first event at which I NPC'd, have to say I quite enjoyed the experience and hope it makes me a better player (and doesn't completely sap my will to play a PC in the future). Many sup plots were opened and explored, a story arc came to a close, and Questions remained to be answered in the future. There was some OOC chat moments, including YOU SHALL NOT PASS. I thoroughly enjoyed getting to make up characters on the fly, and seeing the adventure from the other side. The staff did a phenomenal job in putting encounters together that challenged and excited, non more so than dear, dear Bio. That being said, the NPC selection was a bit similar to previous mods, but that is to be expected. Trying to figure out how to do a convincing flame elemental that doesn't just look silly... without setting myself on fire.
Final words are kudos to everyone that can remember everything they can do. That was the hardest thing, aside from life counts.

Module: April 30-May 1st
This was my first time being in character, so I was really observing and learning how to do things. Thanks to everyone for being so accepting and open to sharing knowledge. I had a great time and am looking forward to the next event.
The things I really liked: The Bard - Awesome! It was cool to have him come in and sing and give us those abilities for donating. Undead Attacks - I really liked the intensity of these battles. Tougher than the boss at the end it seemed like. Protecting Q’tar and the Squire while they were doing their thing. It got the adrenaline pumping. The Night Orb - I really liked this. It was an awesome non-combative type thing that let your imagination go wild. The mini quests - Was that a werewolf? Yes… He came back! It didn't play a large part into the whole event, but kept things interesting where anything was possible. The Salt Line - "Beat the stupid out of the characters." By retreating back to the town we were safe. Sometimes retreating is the best answer.
Player Interaction: Treasure dividing - Day 1 I was told by the other players I needed to split my loot with everyone, which was great. My first event in character, I’m glad they were teaching me the ropes. Ironically, that was the only time treasure was ever divided. Maybe instead of giving a packet of loot to one person, the NPC should just give out one to each person that searches. If you search you get stuff, if you don’t, you get nothing?
Ideas for Future Events: Finished Products - Being a healer, I rely on others to need my skills. but finished potions were given out pretty freely. This made my position in the group limited except for in dire situations when everyone was out of potions. Targeted Roleplay - I think it was a great idea to have targeted roleplay towards the Priest. It gave him an opportunity to shine which was a new position for him. For the most part, quests were handled by 3 people in the party. Targeting players who aren’t always the center of the attention is awesome. Player Potluck - Q’Tar did great! But I think a potluck would be cool. Bring a dish and get to eat for free. Don’t bring a dish and it costs 10 silver (that get divided up between people who did bring stuff). A Random Quest Board - Inbetween the storyline, offer a board with small quests characters can do on their own without an NPC running. Examples: hide treasure and create riddles that players have to solve in order to find it. Hire players to prepare an act (singing, dancing, etc) at dinner and they get paid for it. Let a character run a tournament amongst the other characters. The reason I say this, is there were some downtimes and its not realistic to expect the NPCs to constantly be doing something. The dice and card games were fun too.
Other Suggestions: Healing Levels - When there are monsters out there doing 20 massives, or even 10 massives, it made my healing pool and power of 3 redundant (max of 30 per rest). I could only heal for 1-2 hits at the most.
Overall a GREAT experience. Really enjoyed it. Going in, I didn't really know what to expect (I had been to Q'Tar's module for a few hours as a NPC).

I understand the healing issue. My workaround is to heal just enough to keep people fighting. 1 heal gets you combat effective again, and then you can worry about the full heal during a rest.

Event: 7/23-24 Overnight
I think it was a good event despite the smaller turnout - it offered the ability to really get to know some of the NPC's/PC better. I feel like I become more comfortable with everyone and got thrown out there more.
I thought it was incredibly helpful to hear that NPCs will consistently have the same costume, but felt lost with who I was talking to. It would be really helpful to me if when NPCs made an appearance, they introduced themselves until they are regularly recognized. Example: the female squire, or the fox therian. Does the Captain of the Guard have a name - or is he just known as his position (btw, I never saw any patrolling soldiers, and I kept looking).
What makes some of our NPC's so memorable: The Bawd because he was of huge interest on the boards. Farmer Solomon who Ammenadale lives to help. Tree Brother who puts everyone to sleep and pops bottles. The Grim because of his conflicted nature and overly analyzed plot role.
It really meant a lot when Tree Brother awarded Q'tar a magical wand. Finding that way to merge board and physical gameplay was awesome. I felt a connection with the Knight and the Bawd when I saw them again, after having talks on the board. Finding ways to grow these out of game relationships will keep people actively thirsty for plot and gameplay.
I really enjoyed myself. Can't wait until the next event!

Event - 8/27 Overnight
What an event! Reflecting on it now, I feel like it was very different from anything else I've participated in. Here are my thoughts: - During the event, I felt a victim to fate - like nothing I could do was enough to change the course that things were headed towards. The singing bard was a premonition - things were destined. This was a huge change for me, because typically modules are far more freed up with the outcome being up in the air. Sure the final destination might be expected, but there are things along the way that can happen that can usually change that. I didn't sense that with the event. I see it more as a play that we all had a role in. It was a GREAT change though. I think that having a variety of events and modules is a great thing and liked this event - but don't take that to mean that all future events and modules should be the same way. If you haven't been able to tell from the board posts and letters flying, Raphael is ready to take on fate itself and sees this as a challenge. - There were a few times when I would target NPCs with spells that they didn't understand. This led me to use spells against people I knew would understand them. - I felt like the Temple was adapted well into the game. Unholy artifact - put it in the Temple. Being able to protect the temple with traps (*wink*) gave it uniqueness that added it to gameplay. I didn't see this with the shop addition - but will give it time to grow.
An amazing event that haunts my imagination. It's crazy how much I get into something that lasts for one or two days a month. Great work all staff and NPCs!

Season Finale (Oct 29 - 30 2016)
Wow, guys.....awesome game!
It was a mixture of ingame fun, heartbreak, triumph, and achievement. And another trophy for the Lounge!!
It was, in my opinion, a turning point game for your tavern master. He lost friends close to him, and was able to take a role in avenging that loss. And had the privilege of meeting new characters and players along the journey.
Faults or gripes for this game? None.
Keep doing what you are doing, staff. And we will keep coming!!
