Hearing the ruckus from the outside of the Tavern, Raphael enters, expecting to find a tree creature or drunken quarrel.
Instead, he sees the K'urasi, obviously distraught. With a few quick words, he protects himself with an immunization against lightning, and starts to faintly glow with a golden aura.
He approaches Q'tar, "What's wrong Q'tar? Did someone attack you? Steal from you?"
He kicks the broken shards of a decanter into a pile, and looks around for the new Tavern wench - who is no where to be seen.

Raphael grimaced at the K'urasi's rather rude behavior. Having only been concerned for his safety, he inwardly vowed to have little to do with the overly dramatic Tavern keeper. As Raphael walked out of the Tavern non-chalantly, he pitied the feeble Tax Collector. He wondered what the fates had thought would happen when putting Q'tar in a position of power. Evaluating what had transpired since his rise to power, Raphael could only think of one thing - drama. Raphael's thoughts fell to Squire Seth. If only he could see how these new nobles had failed him. They were both weak. Neither were warriors or had prowess in battle. Neither were decisive. The settlement was doomed to be ruined at their inability to direct. Neither thought outside of the box. They would sit for hours and barter with words - afraid of the consequences of action. Raphael shivered as he realized that all of his actions in building Cynderfall were in vain. The new nobles would be its downfall.
