Sylvie nods politely to Sharara, then looks at the wilden curiously. "I don't think that's trivial at all. You should think about going to Wyrmgard at some point. The mountains to the north can be dangerous, but if you get a proper guide you can find all sorts of minerals. Where do you hail from?"

Quil looked to the other elf, "I'm from Siltleaf Forest up north. How about you? You said you are a ranger of of sorts?" She asked in return.

"Raised in Wyrmgard. One of the guards took me in when I was young. I haven't been back in a while though..."
She took another sip from her cup. "A ranger of sorts, yeah. I'm a part of a group that tracks down some of the nastier creatures in the wild. Feral undead, aberrants, stuff like that. I've traveled all over the barony, but I haven't left it. It's nice to stay close to home, you know? Visit family every once in a while."

Returning to what Ashe had said earlier Reamous asks "You said you need men for the town guard? What it is that they would do? How is the coin may I ask? I have to say the thought of working with such fine people as this is appealing!" He winks at Quil.
"It is good to have met you Quil, I am sorry for the question. I am not yet accustomed to your customs I should say. Where I come from we find it easier to announce your intentions when you meet someone new so we all do such a thing. It is considered very bad to have no intentions. Very depressing." He looks a little sad at this.
"I should say Mrs. Ku'rasi I did not catch your name or your purpose, Many things have happened I think, confusion settles in."

Q'tar stood up once the blood was cleaned and threw the bloody rag into a bin of hot water. Then he went pover and grabbed a drink for himself (Been a rough day) and takes a long pull from the cool, frothy mead. He closes his eyes and allows the alcohol to start soothing his nerves. After he gains his composure, he steps back into the main room of the lounge and moves to the bar, where a few patrons are standing. Some still looked frazzled from the earlier scene.
He smiles and says in a fairly loud voice. "Round on the house!"
The patrons looked at him, stunned at the sudden and rare sign of charity from the Kur'asi Keeper. Once they saw that it was really happening they stepped up to the bar. Q'tar began filling glasses....

"I can understand going back home every once in a while, but seeing the barony has been a wonderful experience." She said to Sylvie before turning back to Reamous, "No apologies necessary friend, everyone is different." She said with a smirk. She watched the other patrons moving to the bar and she moved to the side to let them pass. "Town guard? That does indeed sound interesting....although this settlement seems to be relatively safe all things considered." She stated, holding her cup.

She turns to Reamous. "As I said, Sharara." The Ku'Rasi pauses a moment to consider the second part of his statement; her purpose. "I am a scholar, ritualist and crafter. When it's necessary, a defender."
Sharara looks to Q'Tar when he emerges again, then back to Reamous. "Yes, as Cinderfall grows and the threats outside in the wilds grow, the numbers of the guard need to be bolstered."

"This is good Sharara! I too study the arcane arts along with following the teachings of my gods. I must ask though, what threats do you speak of?"
Reamous moves to the bar and receives his free drink from Q'tar. "And what is this?"

Quil nodded in agreement with Reamous, "Indeed, how does a random settlement gain enemies and threats...." She trailed off and paused recalling the events that had just previously happened, "Never mind, what other threats are there? Do you have a chain of command? I mean, if you have guards, there's got to be someone in charge right?" She asked and then continued, "Have you a place of worship for those who follow Tiberius?"

"Some of the finest ale." the TavernKeeper said cheerfully.
His head turned suddenly at the sound of Tiberius, but said nothing, continuing to serve the round to the patrons.....

Sharara offers Q'Tar a bit of a smile as she accepts one of the free drinks before turning her attention back to the newcomers. "Mostly the sort you'd expect anywhere... bandits, ravagers, undead.. that sort of thing." She gives a slight nod. "There is the guard Captain you can speak to if that is something you would like to do."
There's a pause from her before she responds to Quil. "Not officially... There is another who shows up from time to time that claims to be a follower of Tiberius, a priest, but... He's found himself in a bit of trouble as of late."

Quil looks to Sharara, puzzled, "What kind of trouble? Also, what does following Tiberius have to do with it?" She, confused and feeling as if there was a story there. Her ears perked forward, intrigued, but hesitant to ask.

Tannin glides into the lightening lounge not like a squirel coming of a tree more like an otter sliding into a river he looks around nods to Q'tar then sits down in the corner and starts to observe

Quil looked to the newest new comer and her ears rotated towards him, taking in his appearance then returning to their conversation.

Tannin makes a polite cough hoping to catch Q'tar's attention and politely requests drinks for everyone and then pulls a silver coin out of a pouch and starts to pass it from fthumb to finger and back as he leans back appearing to relax but an observant person would notice his eyes are always moving and his shoulders are slightly tight
