Sharara had known Raphael was still present and it was that reason she openly expressed her opinion, just as she had on the future itself. Her brow furrows slightly and she interjects in Raphael's lecture. "Challenge your honor? No, not at all. It is one thing, though, to strike down a foe in combat and another to strike a foe down and continue by mutilating the bodies by decapitation. From you, who even in his trials saught a balanced and fair solution, the latter is unusual, and in my opinion excessive. Yes, I did return the possessions of those two and yes they may well have been lying about their plight. If they were, then they will suffer the law. If they weren't, then not only will criminals hear of what happens to those who breaks the law, those who are in a bad situation and need help will hear that aid and compassion can be found." She releases a sigh. "I don't want to fight you, Raphael. We have been allies to this point and there's no reason we can't continue to be. We aren't always going to have the same views and having those different views doesn't diminish anyone's efforts."
It was not as though she had said that Raphael had not done a lot of good, because he had. As she saw it, there was no betrayal. "If I can't sway you to reconsider, then... so be it."
After Raphael walks out, she closes her eyes a few moments and then opens them to look at Q'Tar. "I'll return as fast as I can and I'll be sure to see that Ashe returns with my research if Raphael intends to strike me down."
Lastly, she nods to Ashe. "I'm ready."

Ashe looks at the wild elf and examines her for a moment before saying, "For the record, that guy didn't actually torture anyone, not yet and not that I know of, anyways... Torture is... not my favorite past time" Ashe said with a wince.
"My name is Ashe Sinclair, I'm the local bard, a pleasure to meet you... Sorry, I didn't catch your name?" with a smile.

Reamous looks back and forth between the quarreling adventurers with an almost amused, entertained smile. Looking over his drink he gives a small gasp and places a hand over his mouth in mock shock at the mention of an honor duel. He acts as if he were sharing a play with the rest of the tavern goers, looking back and forth between the people there.
Waving vigorously after Raphael "Good bye paladin!"
Turning to the rest he states very plainly "He was so very sneaky, I forgot he was there! Not as sneaky as you though my dear, I must watch you carefully lest you steal my heart!" The last bit he jokes to Ashe giving her a sly smile.
"Soooooo you are all very dramatic. Not that it is not entertaining, but I would find life here very stressful I think. Bodies, secret pacts, honor duels, dead and live moving trees, evil priests and paladins." He looks at Q'tar, the most hospitable one so far as if wanting confirmation. "I think the lady in the beautiful blue fur has the right of it. Bad mission and bad morals. I think I am not alone in my thought ne?"
"What is there interesting here? I must see and then be on my way."

The wild elf offers a small smile back. "A bard, eh? Then you might have traveled as much as I have. My name is Sylvie, and I'm a ranger of sorts. I hail from Wyrmgard, though I don't usually come to cities or settlements. I found this one after tracking a trail of blood in the forest." She takes a sip from the drink that had been offered to her by the tavernkeep. "I've never seen a tree like that before. If he's a friend, you should be very careful... there are many who might mistake him for an aberrant."

Quil looked over to the Dark Elf, a small smirk on her lips. She watched as Sylvie spoke with Ashe. She wasn't quite certain what to do so she downed her drink and smiled contentedly. "How about you? When you say try everything, are you talking about food, battles, or literally everything?" She asked the Dark Elf, since he by far seemed the most chatty of the groups, certainly not shy of conversation, or busy cleaning up someone else's mess.

Ashe says jokingly looking at the giant puddle of blood on the floor. "He is a friend, he is actually very nice."

After finishing her sentence, Ashe looked over to Sharara, "I will be ready to leave shortly. I'd like to welcome these newcomers first before we head out. All they have seen is the bad and I'd like to talk to them for a bit."
Ashe then addresses Sylvie, the man in the dark armor, and the woman with the blue fur, "You guys all sort of stumbled, quite literally, into a mess. This is the first time our town has ever had these kinds of issues before... Well, since the plants... You should stay in town for a bit, there's plenty of interesting folk, as you can tell." She says with a smile, "By the way, I'm Ashe Sinclair, the tavern bard... This town is not as stressful as it seems, either." She says with a smirk.
(CLARIFICATION, Reamous is a dark elf, and Quil is Wilden right?)

Sylvie blinks at the joke, somewhat surprised. It had been a while since someone had joked with her, and as a result it took a moment for her to process it. Once she did, though, she laughed and said "Yes, I did find the source of the blood. And then some!"
Her gaze returned to the tavern door, her smile fading. "If you do care for him, you really should make his presence more known. There are people out there who look to slay anything that doesn't fit with the natural order of things. What is ... he, you said?"

"My dear, when I say everything I mean...Everything." He takes a moment to stare into her eyes showing her a mildly disturbing grin.
"A bard you say? You will have to sing me a song some time. I have not yet heard many of your songs up here. I am very fond of music you see."
He looks curiously at the tavern keeper. "Tell me what is done for money up here? I have no jobs to speak of and my fortune dwindles. I am only so far into my journey and have not yet fulfilled my goal, I cannot return yet."
"Please Mr. Tavern man give me a sampling of all your wares, I have much to learn."
(Yes Reamous is a Dark Elf)

She arched an eyebrow at the Dark Elf and simply stared back unblinkingly before he turned to address the bard. Her ears rotated around as she listened to the tavern keeper scrub the floor and she continued to ponder the Reamous's words. ^Oh dear, that smile is a bit unsettling......but intriguing.^ she thought to herself.
((yes, Quil is indeed a wilden 🐯))

Ashe looks to Sylvie, "Erm... He is... Like, a tree folk? I'm not sure exactly what he is, but he helped us save our town, and we owe him."
Ashe smiles at the Dark Elf, "Yes, I am a bard by trade. I can play and sing many songs with my guitar. I don't exactly have time right now, but if you will be in town for a while then I should be back before you leave... Unless you would like to stay." Ashe smiles, sort of answering the question directed towards Q'tar, "We are looking for more people for the town guard..."
Ashe then says to the Wilden and the Dark Elf, "What are your names?"

The tiger turned eye to the woman, gazing at her as she spoke, "I am simply called Quil." She said with a smirk.

"As I have already said, I am Reamous and I am here to try everything!" He looks quizzically at the tiger.
"You do not say your purpose....do you have none?"

"Ha.... Indeed. All three of you picked a very interesting time to step through that door. This.." She gestures to the blood on the floor. "Isn't the norm in here. The paladin that just left makes a pretty decent stew and Q'Tar keeps a good place here running." She rubs her temple with one hand. "My name is Sharara, welcome. I would stay to talk more, but I should catch up with Raphael."

Quil bowed her head slightly to the female Ku'rasi before looking at Reamous, "Oh I have a purpose, I have many actually. My main purpose is to collect things that my father can use in his blacksmithing, so he and my mother don't have to work as hard back home." She said as her ears continued to rotate on top of her head. She breathed in, taking note of everyone's scent, even despite the blood. "It my seem trivial to some, but it is one of my purposes none-the-less." She said with a somewhat happy look.
